92.5 Sterling Silver is a jewelry alloy. This means that 92.5% is pure silver. Pure silver is very soft, therefore the rest of the composition is other metals which provide hardness and durability. It is these other metals which react with chemicals found in the air and produce tarnish; high moisture levels, exposure to sunlight and contaminants such as salt water increase this reaction. Also, some wearer’s individual skin chemistry will cause tarnish to develop more quickly.

Protect your sterling silver jewelry by keeping it in airtight packages, use tarnish-resistant products (such as tarnish tabs or strips) that absorb harmful chemicals, and store in a cool, dry place.

Natural stones are organically created in nature, making each one unique. Inclusions are characteristics which are inside a stone or extend to the inside from the surface. They are completely normal within gemstones, most do not affect the structural integrity, and can include:

Clouds- hazy areas
Needles- long thin inclusions, aka growth tubes
Cracks- fractures, cleavages, breaks or feathers
Growth or Color Zoning- uneven color distribution
Cavities- holes or indentations extending from the surface
Chips- notches or chips
Droplets - brown or black specks

These types of inclusions are most commonly seen in Rainbow Moonstone, Labradorite, and Aquamarine, due to their inherent crystalline structure.

PROTECT your sterling silver jewelry by keeping it in airtight packages and store in a cool, dry place. Humidity can speed up the oxidation process that produces tarnish, therefore do not leave jewelry in or near the bathroom. Avoid contact with perfumes, cleaners, sweat, soaps, etc. Do not wear your jewelry in salt water or chlorinated pools.

CLEAN: Most tarnish is easily removed by using a soft jewelry polishing cloth or dipping briefly (20 seconds) in an anti-tarnish solution. Dry well and then wear, or store as above. Jewelry is best cleaned promptly to maintain its shine. These products may be purchased at stores such as Kroger, Walgreens, Target, etc

Jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off!

Returns must be authorized by me before sending. They must be in their original condition and postmarked with 7 days of delivery. Buyer is responsible for return shipping, WITH TRACKING, unless I have made an error, in which case I will send you a return label.
